Top scores Loyens & Loeff in Legal 500 rankings 2019

Zurich, 10 April 2019 - The legal 500 has released its annual rankings. Loyens & Loeff continued its excellent rankings in the Legal 500 2019.

The results for Switzerland

  • Tax: Tier 3
  • Commercial, corporate and M&A: first time ranked – Tier 3

Prolonged Tier 1 rankings

In the Tax category, we prolonged our Tier 1 ranking in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. The tax department of Loyens & Loeff is valued by clients for being 'responsive, flexible and creative' and a 'strong Benelux presence'. In the categories Mediation, Healthcare & Life sciences, Retail, Investment Funds and Real Estate our Dutch offices continued their Tier 1 ranking. The Belgium office held on to its Tier 1 ranking in the categories Food, Energy, Food & Beverage and Retail.

New Tier 1 rankings

Our Dutch offices went up to Tier 1 in two categories: Energy Regulatory and Food & Beverage. Our Luxembourg office went up to Tier 1 in three categories: Dispute Resolution, Investment Funds and Private Equity. Our Belgium office entered as Tier 1 in the category Not-For-Profit.

Legal 500

The Legal 500 rankings are based on feedback from 250,000 in-house peers and their access to law firms deals and confidential matters, which are independently assessed by the Legal 500 researchers.
