We advised the Mytilineos group on their inaugural green bond offering of EUR 500 million and the listing of said notes in Luxembourg.

Lux Mytilineos deal - green globe

We assisted the Mytilineos group, a leading Greek global industrial and energy company, with their inaugural green bond offering of EUR 500 million 2.25% senior notes due 2026 by the company Mytilineos S.A. which shares are listed on the Athens stock exchange. The notes were unconditionally guaranteed by its Luxembourg wholly owned subsidiary, Mytilineos Financial Partners S.A..

We further assisted Mytilineos in connection with the listing of the notes on the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, their admission to trading on the Euro MTF market and their display on the innovative Luxembourg Green Exchange, the world’s leading platform for sustainable securities.

Mytilineos used the proceeds of the notes to repay existing indebtedness, for general corporate purposes and to pay costs and expenses related to the offering. An amount equivalent to the proceeds arising from the notes will be used to finance or refinance eligible green projects in accordance with Mytilineos' green bond framework.

Mytilineos began its activity in Piraeus in 1908 and now counts itself among the world leading industrial and energy companies.
