Belgium’s Governmental declaration of intent
After 493 days, Belgian politicians managed to form a so-called Vivaldi government.

The declaration of intent - which can be found below - pleads in these times of coronavirus pandemic for a solidary, prosperous, sustainable and safe Belgium with, among other things, attention to good health care, a modernized social security system, an increased employment rate, fairer and simpler taxation and a climate-friendly environment.
At this stage, there are no concrete proposals available yet. Although the continuation of the Civil Code reform has been confirmed, it remains otherwise uncertain to what extent the new government will make tabula rasa with the past.
Once the formulated intentions become more concrete we will of course inform you of these developments.
