GDPR Expert Sessions 2021-2022

On behalf of the Loyens & Loeff Data Protection & Privacy Team, we are pleased to announce the official launch of our GDPR Expert Sessions 2021-2022.

As we want to keep you updated on the latest developments in the field of privacy & data protection, we are very happy to invite you to our (virtual/hybrid) expert sessions, with a kick-off in October 2021 and a wrap-up in June 2022.

  • Our first (webinar) session is set on 26 October and will be dedicated to the recent (draft) guidelines of the Belgian Data Protection Authority for the processing of biometric data. We will also briefly touch upon other developments regarding the processing of special categories of personal data.
    This webinar has already taken place.
  • At the occasion of our second (webinar) session of 30 November, we will discuss the latest developments regarding international data transfers (new SCCs, Transfer Impact Assessments, Brexit, etc.).
    This webinar has already taken place.
  • The third (webinar) session will be held on 15 March 2022  regarding judicial & criminal enforcement of the GDPR.
  • Topics such as dawn raids, cookies and much more will be at the heart of our further discussions in 2022 (in April and June).

1 IBJ-IJE training point will be requested for each session.
