Mark van Casteren is a tax partner in the Amsterdam offices of Loyens & Loeff. He is a member of the Transfer Pricing Team and the International Corporate Tax Practice Group.

About Mark van Casteren

Mark van Casteren is a partner in Loyens & Loeff’s International Tax Services practice group and a member of the Transfer Pricing team. From 2001 to 2005 Mark headed Loyens & Loeff’s New York office.

Mark’s practice focuses on North American clients. He has wide experience in structuring international acquisition and financing transactions of US based private equity funds and US and Canada based multinationally operating enterprises, specifically Canadian mining groups and US (bio)pharmaceutical companies. Mark advised many North American groups (including various US pharma companies) on how to set up their European business. He also frequently advises on tax efficient restructurings of multinationally operating enterprises. Mark frequently lectures on international tax and M&A issues.
