He has a detailed knowledge of, and experience with, procurement procedures and advising government bodies in this area. He has advised on public procurement law in various sectors in the past few years (alternately acting on behalf of (semi)government bodies and on behalf of private parties). This entailed, amongst others, supervising (complex) procurement procedures for various contracting authorities and conducting litigation related to (the outcomes of) procurement procedures. In addition, he regularly advises health care providers, health care insurers and other parties involved in the health care sector on various matters related to contractual issues and/or the complex Dutch and European healthcare regulations.
Redmar teaches courses regularly and publishes on his areas of expertise. He is a member of the Dutch Association for Public Procurement Law and the Amsterdam Bar Association.
Redmar is co-author of the book 'Building in the Netherlands’. This publication is intended to be a handy overview of the most important legal and tax facets of and for Dutch building and development practice. The publication is the result of a joint effort made by various Loyens & Loeff attorneys-at-law, tax advisers and civil law notaries in different disciplines, who pooled together their expertise and experience.
