Hans Rothuizen, tax adviser, is a senior associate in the tax practice of Loyens & Loeff, where he is member of the investment management and real estate team. After having worked in the Amsterdam office of Loyens & Loeff for over five years, Hans moved to Asia, where he is based in the firm’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
Hans specialises in domestic and cross-border transactions, group restructurings and mergers and acquisitions, particularly in our home markets the Netherlands and Luxembourg and, being part of the firm's Asia Pacific team, in the Greater China region, Korea and Japan. He advises both Dutch and international clients, including family offices, corporate clients, investment funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Hans is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB), the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), the IFA Singapore Branch and ANREV. Hans is also member of the Dutch Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong and Singapore.
