Elena specialises in the structuring and formation of investment funds domiciled in various onshore and offshore jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Luxembourg regulated and unregulated private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure funds and associated co-investment and carried interest arrangements. She also advises fund managers and other service providers on various financial services regulatory and operational matters.

In addition to her fund formation practice, Elena has regularly acted for institutional investors in the context of their alternative investment activities and assisted in the review and negotiation of the relevant fund terms.

Before re-joining Loyens & Loeff, Elena worked in the investment management departments of leading international law firms in London.
