Dominique is a member of the Corporate and M&A Practice Group in Belgium. She is also a member of the Energy & Utilities and Competition and Regulatory Teams in Brussels.
Dominique’s practice includes all aspects of regulatory law in the liberalised industries, with a particular focus on the energy sector. She assists clients on (renewable) energy projects, both offshore and onshore, and in that respect advises on permits, concessions, underground and submarine cables, subsidy mechanisms for renewable energy production, network access and supply and construction agreements. In addition, Dominique frequently represents utilities in civil and administrative litigation.
Furthermore, Dominique has experience in Belgian and EU competition law, with a particular focus on merger control. She also advises on EU chemicals legislation (REACH and CLP).
She has published several articles on energy law and competition law.
Dominique has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2011.
Dominique obtained her Law degree from KU Leuven in 2011. During her Master, Dominique has won the Karel Verleye award for her thesis on European integration.
