Aude is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Litigation & Risk Management Practice Group in Belgium. She also heads the Benelux Food & Beverages Team.
Aude specialises in (international) commercial law and European and Belgian food law. Aude’s practice essentially focuses on advising and assisting food business operators on various matters such as Nutrition & Health Claims, labelling issues, market practices & advertising, food safety, placement on the market, importation in the European Union, etc. This involves close collaboration with the relevant authorities and also includes dispute resolution before the Courts.
She advises companies in the food industry sector (including food supplements).
Aude is a member of the Food Lawyers Network (worldwide). She cooperates with the European Journal of Food and Feed Law Review (EFFL – Lexxion The Legal Publisher) as a correspondent for Belgium and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences on Food Law topics.
She was teaching assistant in law (introduction to civil law) at the Law Faculty of the Université libre de Bruxelles (2005-2011).
She is mentioned as an expert in food law and in the food sector by the Legal 500 directory.
Aude has been a member of the Brussels bar since 2004.

Aude holds a Master degree of Laws (Lic. Jur.) from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium, 2004).
She also has a Certificate in International Food Law (EU Food Law), from the Michigan State University (USA, 2011).
