Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg advised Play Communications S.A. with its EUR 1 billion IPO and listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange
Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg advised Play Communications S.A. with the initial offering of its shares to retail investors, institutional investors and certain employees, and their listing on the regulated market operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange for a value of approximately EUR 1 billion.
Acting for the issuer, we assisted with the corporate reorganization prior and post IPO, the corporate approvals in connection with the IPO process, the review of the prospectus and underwriting agreement and coordinated the CSSF’s approval of the prospectus for the purpose of the offering and listing. The prospectus was approved on 30 June 2017 and listing became effective on 27 July 2017.
Play Communications S.A. operates Poland's second largest mobile network. It provides mobile voice, messaging, data offerings, and video streaming and services to consumers and businesses on a contract and prepaid basis under the PLAY brand; and value added services, such as caller-ID, calling line identity restriction, voice mail, call forwarding, call waiting, call barring, and conference calling services. The company also offers various mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, netbooks, laptops, and data-access devices comprising dongles, modems, and routers through its stores, telesales, and Website.
