Content of the Class
What tips a creative marketing campaign towards misleading communications? Still so many grey zones in this area and potential pitfalls for food business operators! From regulated voluntary information (country of origin, FoP Labelling schemes, …) to clean labelling trends, risk-assessments will be discussed through concrete examples. Nutrition and health claims are not part of this Session and will be presented in Session 4.
Aude Mahy, counsel, is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Litigation & Risk Management Practice Group and she co-heads the Food & Beverages Team. She specialises in commercial law and European and Belgian food law.
Jack Nuijten, senior associate, is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Indirect Tax Practice Group. He specialises in trade and customs procedures.
Natasja Brusik, senior associate, is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Competition & Regulatory Practice Group. She specialises in European and Dutch competition law and food law.

The Food Law Classes are graciously offered to Loyens & Loeff clients.
Other companies participate in the costs for the amount of EUR 345,- (excl. VAT) per class or EUR 2.900,- (excl. VAT) for 10 classes (applicable in case of registration at once).
The Food Law Classes will be open to law or science Master students (free of charge, admission upon motivation letter).
