Content of the Class

You know better than anybody that it is paramount to be able to predict what’s coming, and crucial to find an angle to intervene in time. Regulatory intelligence starts with a glance into the EU’s kitchen to see what’s cooking. Hence, having a view on the institutions and processes that shape food policy, and their influential players goes often beyond the black letter-legislation. This session constitutes an essential eye-opener!

In partnership with Jens Karsten, founder of BXL Law and EU-cooperation partner of KWG Attorneys. Jens specialises, amongst others, in EU food law and governance.

Valentijn De Boe, counsel, is a member of Loyens & Loeff’s Public Law Practice Group in Belgium and is also a member of the Procurement and Administrative Law Team in Brussels. Valentijn has considerable experience in public-private partnerships (PPPs), public procurement, administrative contracts, public entities, projects and public and administrative law.

Jan de Heer, associate, is a member of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. He specialises in general (procedural) administrative law and has a special interest in economic administrative law (regulated markets), administrative enforcement issues and matters in the overlapping area between public/private law.

External speaker to be confirmed.
