Renaissance of the Belgian PPP market

Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) had traditionally been a favorite way of financing large infrastructure projects in Belgium. However, the model went through challenging times when budget-neutrality issues appeared around 2014. After years of setbacks, the Belgian PPP market now shows clear signs of revival. A new wave of PPPs has come to the market based on a redefined risk allocation model.
