It’s a fact: the reform of the property law entered into force on 1 September 2021

On Thursday, 2 September 2021 we celebrated the Civil Code - Book 3’s first-day anniversary with a seminar on the (new) civil law aspects of the property rights (long-term lease, right to build and usufruct) as well as their impacts from a bankability and tax point of views.

You can also discover our dedicated webpage, where we inform you about this important reform for the real estate sector. You will already find on this webpage

  • The infographics (with Kluwer) summarising the fundamentals of the reform and the main changes with regard to the usufruct right, the long-term lease right and the right to build;
  • the slides and recording (in French and Dutch) of our five webinars discussing certain topics and cases.

Download the presentation of the webinar or view it below.
