Flash: Draft bill on corporate governance within listed companies

Pursuant to the draft bill that was published by the Dutch Minister of Finance, the corporate governance principles within listed companies must be amended.

The draft bill appears to be inspired by the principles that govern corporate governance in other, primarily Anglo-Saxon, countries. Initial comments to the draft bill are inter alia directed to the potential administrative burden that results from the increase of the notification obligation and to the establishment of the level of the thresholds.
