Christian Amand is a counsel in Loyens’ “Indirect Taxation” department. He has wide experience of Value Added Tax, intermediaries’ services, corporate restructuring and intra-group services. He also specialises in financial services and VAT.
Since 1992, Christian has been a member of the Fiscal Committee of the Confédération Fiscale Européenne, which represents European tax advisors at the European institutions. He has been involved in the SLIM initiative (Simple Legislation in the Internal Market) organised by the European Commission in collaboration with professional bodies and national authorities.
Before joining Loyens, at the start of 2007, Christian worked as a tax advisor at one of the Big Four.
Christian is the author of studies on indirect taxation and has also written articles for L’Echo, the Courrier Fiscal and the International VAT Monitor. |
