Anke Stellingwerff Beintema (1976), attorney, is a member of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. She specialises in both advisory work to and litigation on behalf of governmental entities and private companies in the field of (European) public procurement law. She also provides legal support to contracting authorities in the preparation and execution of European public tender procedures. In the context of her graduation thesis, she conducted an investigation into infringements of the European public procurement rules by Dutch contracting authorities. She has worked as clerk of the court at the Utrecht Civil Court.
Anke is editor in chief of the Elsevier’s ‘Handboek Aanbestedingsrecht’ [Public Procurement Law Handbook] and Sdu's Handboek WMO [Social Support Act Handbook] and the Sdu’s edition ‘Tekst en Toelichting Wet Personenvervoer 2000’ [Text and Commentary People Carriage Act 2000]. She regularly provides courses and lectures for several institutes (Elsevier, NSOB, SBO, Utrecht University) in the field of public procurement law. She also regularly publishes articles on public procurement law and is an active member of the Dutch Procurement Law Association.
