J. Philip van Hilten (1952), tax lawyer, is a member of the international Tax practice group. He specialises in the areas of national and international takeovers, mergers, structuring and restructuring, joint ventures and tax audits/due diligence, as well as arm's length pricing, intercompany arrangements, licence agreements, group financing companies, and international private finance initiatives. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Loyens & Loeff. Philip is former chairman of the Taxes Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a member of the council of the Section on Business law of the IBA. His publications include articles and contributions to books on the subjects of cost sharing, cost contribution arrangements, constructive income, corporate residency, transfer pricing and taxation of oil and gas extraction. |
