Maurice Essers (1967), attorney, is specialised in EU law, competition law (merger control, antitrust and state aid), procurement law and in the law of special sectors (public transport, health care, water and energy).
In the field of procurement law he advises both public authorities, utilities and private companies. His many years of experience in this field as a lawyer is reflected in the handbooks "Aanbestedingsrecht voor Overheden" and "Aanbestedingsrecht voor Nutssectoren" and in an extensive collection of models for tender documents.
His second specialist area is competition law, especially merger notifications (NMa and EC), cartel cases and litigation in competition cases.
He is also very active as a speaker at conferences, as a writer of books and articles and as a member of associations for attorneys (see below). |
