Geert Bogaert (1953), attorney, is head of the Commercial law, IP, ICT and media law practice groups and member of the Automotive practice group in Brussels. He has significant experience with commercial law and advises on dispute settlements for parties that are active in Belgium and internationally. He is an expert in franchising, particularly in relation to the automotive sector and he advises several producers and importers in their disputes with dealers, network reorganisations and contract drafting. Geert is vice-president of the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and active in a number of non-profit organisations. He has also been a substitute judge since 1989. He is the author of several articles and editor of a number of publications on distribution law, competition law and intellectual property law. |
