| Jan A.A. Oomens (1946), attorney, is the chairman of the practice group Technology, Media and Litigation. He is primarily engaged in the general litigation practice and gives advice on delivery and purchase arrangements, agencies, distribution, franchising, industrial and intellectual property (patents, brands, trade names, models, copyright) and the shipbuilding industry and building of industrial plants. After having completed his Dutch Law studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, he obtained his LL.M. degree at Columbia University Law School in New York. He is the Chairman of the Disputes Committee of the United Dutch Shipbuilding Industry (‘VNSI’) and he is a member of the Advisory Board on Legal Postacademic Education at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, he is a member of several organizations in industrial property. |
