Carel Adriaansens (1947) is an adviser to the Real Estate practice group. He specialises in construction law and rent law and has broad experience in construction law arbitration, tenancy law procedures and real-estate division.
Carel is a part-time professor of Real Property Law with an endowed chair at Universiteit Maastricht. He is a member of the Construction Law Association and Rent Law Association and chairman of the Institute for Economic Research in Construction Business (EIB). He is commissioner of the Holland Immo Group and (part-time) justice at the Court of 's Hertogenbosch. He has a PhD in Technology from the University of Delft obtained in 1990. He has published frequently, for example, the books Volkshuisvestingsrecht ["Public housing law"](Kluwer 2000) and Auteursrecht architect ["Architect's copyright"] (SDU 1999), as well as an essay on the private-law character of housing corporations (Aedes 2000). |
