Thierry Lohest (1966), attorney, is a member of the Corporate practice group and heads the Luxembourg Corporate Law Practice. He divides this time between our Luxembourg and Hong Kong offices.

He specialises in corporate law, corporate finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities regulations and banking and finance matters.

Thierry has represented clients in numerous cross-border transactions, either public or private, including major public takeover bids and listings of securities on Euronext, Nasdaq, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange.

Before joining Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg, he was a partner with a leading Belgian law firm, in Brussels and London, and thereafter the partner in charge of the corporate and finance practice in the Brussels office of a leading global law firm.

Thierry is a member of the Brussels Bar and Luxembourg Bar and is registered as a foreign lawyer in Hong Kong.
