International desks: ChinaThe long-standing presence of Loyens & Loeff NV has earned it a distinguished and respected name in Asia. Various lectures, seminars and providing advisory services to large Asian enterprises have led to substantial involvement and knowledge of the market. The increased interest of Chinese businesses and investors in the European market resulted in our setting up the Loyens & Loeff China Desk in 2005. The members are a broad network of contacts in the process of expanding with Chinese and Western advisory offices and businesses, such as Chinese and Benelux (semi) public institutions and representative organisations, supplementary to the current contacts. This has manifested itself, amongst others, through a series of successful seminars which were organised in Beijing and Shanghai in July and November 2005. These seminars are followed up in these cities as well as in Shenzhen in May and December 2006. Furthermore, the expertise and involvement of the China Desk is clear from the variety of articles published by our experts.
