Rutger Zaal (1976), tax adviser, is a member of the tax practice group. He specialises in both Dutch and Luxembourg corporate income tax and dividend withholding tax and gives advise on international transactions as well as on Luxembourg securitisation vehicles and fund regimes. He is also working on structured finance transactions for a number of clients. Before he started in the New York office in March 2010, he worked in the Amsterdam office from 1998 to 2008 and in the Luxembourg office during 2008 and 2009. In the New York offiie he is part of the Luxembourg desk.

In his years in the Amsterdam office, Rutger gained large experience in Dutch tax compliance work.
