Michael is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department of Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg. He specialises in Luxembourg corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (cross border and other), corporate restructurings and finance transactions. He has particular experience in dealing with corporate queries relating to Luxembourg companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange and companies wishing to invest in Africa. Michael has advised on various corporate restructurings for large international companies including migrations in and out of Luxembourg.
Before joining Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg, Michael was a Senior Associate at the Luxembourg office of an International Network of Law Firms, and prior to that practiced as an Attorney and Notary Public at a leading South African and African law firm.
Michael is admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (List IV) and he is a Solicitor of the Superior Courts of England and Wales.
He is also admitted as a Notary Public South Africa and as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
