Jan Bart Schober (1975), tax adviser, is a member of the International Tax practice group. He advises multinational companies in the oil and gas industry on domestic and international tax matters since joining Loyens & Loeff in 1998. In this respect, he focuses especially on structuring cross-border investments in exploration and production assets, and on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring in the E&P industry. Furthermore, he has a strong focus on financing transactions, such as securitisations and repackagings. He is a member of the Russia/CIS Desk, and has a broad Russian client base. He has worked in the London office for three years, from where he returned to Amsterdam in January 2005.
Jan Bart is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax advisers (NOB), the IFA and the Association for Tax Research.
