Jan-Willem van Rooij (1974), attorney at law, is a member of the Corporate practice group. He specialises in national and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, private equity and venture capital transactions. He is a member of the India Desk. He has provided legal advice in several energy-related transactions, for example, in the divestment of the energy division of a major listed company and the high-profile acquisition of an electricity and gas grid.

Jan-Willem is a member of the Dutch Bar Association, the International Association of Young Lawyers (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats - AIJA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Foundation Corporate Litigation.
