Gijs Melching (1960), tax lawyer, heads the Rotterdam office and is a member of the Tax practice group. He specialises in international tax consultancy relating to reorganisations, mergers, joint ventures, takeovers and financing and holding schemes. He advises on international tax planning and counsels to Dutch listed companies in the field of corporate tax, foreign tax systems and transfer pricing. He also advises Dutch subsidiaries of foreign companies on corporate tax and reorganisations. His clients include foreign multinationals seeking advice on international tax matters, such as acquisition and financing structures.
Gijs is a member of Loyens & Loeff's French desk and liaises with the Swiss offices. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
