Mark van Casteren (1966), tax adviser, is a member of the Tax practice group. He advises (mainly US-based) internationally operating groups and funds on structuring their Dutch, EU or other international acquisitions. As tax adviser he is frequently involved in acquisitions. He has extensive experience in advising investment banks on cross-border structured finance products, including securitisations etc. He worked at the New York office from 2001 to 2005.
Mark frequently lectures on international tax and M&A issues. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Bar association (IBA) and the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
