Jean-Baptiste Beauvoir-Planson (1977), attorney, is a senior associate in the Corporate department of Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg where he advises clients on the structuring of international transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate reorganisations.

He was admitted to the Paris Bar (France) in 2003. Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff in 2011, Jean-Baptiste started his career in France for an English "magic circle" firm, and then worked during five years in the Corporate department of a Luxembourg leading full service law firm, where he was a senior associate.

Jean-Baptiste holds a Master’s degree in business law from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (France), a diploma in comparative law from the Institut de Droit Comparé (France), a postgraduate degree in comparative law (DEA) from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (France), a Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law from the Parker school of foreign and comparative law (U.S.A) as well as a Master’s degree (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School, (U.S.A).
