Loyens & Loeff formed the Israel Desk to provide the best advice possible for our clients.
In 2004, Loyens & Loeff professionals with a broad knowledge of the Israeli market and legal system formed a specialised desk: the Israel Desk. Members of the Desk strongly focus on Israeli clients that invest or trade in Europe or other regions, as well as on international companies and financial institutions that want to expand their businesses to Israel. In many cross-border (including cross-Atlantic) transactions, clients can derive benefits by investing through the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).
The team comprises members from various Loyens & Loeff practice groups. Members of the Israel Desk visit Israel four to five times a year. They combine their experience in relation to the Israeli market with their extensive knowledge of, among others, international tax law, corporate structuring, merger and acquisition, banking and securities law, regulatory law, employment law. In addition to being part of the Israel Desk, members also participate in Loyens & Loeff teams that focus on specific industries and sectors, such as energy, real estate, private equity, fund structuring, corporate finance and family office investments.
