Niek F.M.M. Zaman (1955), civil law notary, is a member of the Corporate Law practice group. He specialises in corporate law and advises national and international large and medium-sized enterprises in mergers, demergers, acquisitions and IPOs. He advises family-owned businesses on estate planning. He has practiced with a German law firm in Germany (in 1980) and with an American law firm (1984).
Niek is director of several public interest organisations as well as some in the business community. He is a member of the Commission of Company Law and author of a large number of publications in the area of corporate law. He is Professor of Notarial Corporate Law at the Law Faculty of Utrecht University and member of Loyens & Loeff's German Desk.
