Christian Willems (1954), attorney, is head of Loyens & Loeff’s Employment law, Compensation & Benefits and Pensions practice. Christian has broad experience in employment law and has been advising companies in Belgium and internationally on general employment law matters, transfers of undertakings, collective dismissals, reorganisations, employee benefits, pensions and social security, individual dismissals, self-employment matters, employment and social disputes, industrial relations, relations with unions, and strikes for more than 20 years.
Christian is a frequent guest speaker at seminars and the author of a considerable number of publications. He is also a member of the employment and labour subcommittees of the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He lectures junior lawyers in Brussels on employment law. He is member of the Brussels bar.
