Marc Vermylen (1966), attorney, is chairman of the Banking & Finance practice group, head of the Loyens & Loeff's Renewable Energy Projects team and member of the Real Estate practice group in Brussels. 

Marc has more than 15 years experience in project financing and in documenting and implementing a broad range of structured finance products in Belgium and across Europe. His broad expertise is in transaction management and secured financing in particular. His clients include secured lenders, originators and issuers of structured notes.

Before joining Loyens & Loeff, Marc was Vice-President and in-house counsel with JP Morgan and KBC Bank.  Marc is a regular speaker at conferences on cross-border collateral topics. Marc is also Lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
