Stein van Thiel (1977), attorney, is a member of the Corporate practice group. He specialises in corporate law, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation, and advises on, among other things, corporate governance issues, director’s liability, disputes between shareholders and commercial contracts.

Stein was a board member of the Young Bar Association for Rotterdam and Dordrecht and board representative of the National Young Bar Association in 2004 and 2005. He studied law at Queen's College in Cambridge, England in 2002. He has been a member of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA) since 2004. Within AIJA, he is an active member of the Litigation Commission. He is a member of the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association and regularly publishes legal articles on Dutch corporate law.
