Anke Stellingwerff Beintema (1976), attorney, is a member of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. She specialises in both advisory work to and litigation on behalf of governmental entities and private companies in the field of (European) public procurement law. She also provides legal support to contracting authorities in the preparation and execution of European public tender procedures. In the context of her graduation thesis, she conducted an investigation into infringements of the European public procurement rules by Dutch contracting authorities. She has worked as clerk of the court at the Utrecht Civil Court.

Anke is editor-in-chief of the ‘Basisteksten Aanbestedingsrecht’ [Elementary texts in Public Procurement Law] (Ars Aequi Wetseditie), www.kennisbankinkoopenaanbesteden.nl (Reed Business), ‘Schriftelijke leergang Succesvol Aanbesteden’ [Successful Public Procurement, a written course] (Euroforum), and the Sdu’s edition ‘Tekst en Toelichting Wet Personenvervoer 2000’ [Text and Commentary People Carriage Act 2000]. She teaches courses, lectures and provides in-house training on (European) public procurement law and is a visiting lecturer for the University of Amsterdam. She also regularly publishes articles on public procurement law and is an active member of the Dutch Public Procurement Law Association.
