Martijn Schoonewille (1980), lawyer, is a member of the Banking & Finance practice group. He specialises in the law and regulations regarding supervision of financial markets and securities law. Martijn advises companies, banks, insurance companies and investors on financial supervision and acts as Dutch counsel to these parties in a variety of public and private equity and debt offerings. Furthermore, he assists clients in the field of private equity and take-overs of financial institutions, whether or not through a public offer. In 2008 Martijn worked on secondment at a investment bank. Through this secondment he gained practical experience of the fund industry as well as the capital markets.

Martijn is an editorial member of Rechtspraak Financieel Recht and a member of the Dutch Association for Securities Law.
