Marc Meyers (1970), attorney-at-law, heads the Luxembourg Banking & Finance and Investment Management practices.

He specialises in handling complex matters involving multidisciplinary areas, including banking and regulatory matters, as well as secured finance transactions. He also advises leading international companies on capital market deals, including debt and equity listings on the Luxembourg stock exchange.

In addition, Marc has significant experience in structuring and transactional work for Luxembourg alternative fund structures, such as SICARs and SIFs, with a particular focus on private equity and property funds. Before joining Loyens & Loeff, he established and headed the Luxembourg legal practice of another Benelux law firm. He worked for several years in the Luxembourg office of a leading international law firm, as well as in the New York and London offices of the US firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

Marc is the firm's representative at The Luxembourg Bankers' Association (ABBL) and is an active member of several working groups within the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), as well as the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA).

He is a member of the Luxembourg and New York Bars.
