Laurent Mertens is a lawyer in the Corporate law and M&A department in Brussels. Before joining Loyens & Loeff in 2007, he worked as a laywer within a major international law office of the “Magic Circle”.
Laurent is part time assistant at the “Université Libre de Bruxelles” where he is in charge of leading seminars on Conflict of Laws.
He has written various articles and he is also co-editor of articles on the legal, accounting and tax aspects of the partial split.
