Gert-Wim van de Meent (1964), is attorney at law of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. He specialises in European law and focuses on procurement law, competition and state aid. He is a professor of Procurement Law at the University of Amsterdam.
Gert-Wim is a visiting lecturer in European law at the University of Utrecht and the Dutch School for Public Administration. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the European Law Association, the Competition Law Association, and board member of the Dutch Association for Procurement Law. He has a great many publications to his credit (see also 'Publications' at www.loyensloeff.com and 'Publications'). He is the editor in chief of the Elsevier's Handboek Aanbestedingsrecht [Procurement Law Handbook] and is much in demand as a speaker at legal conferences.
