Valérie Mantot is senior associate in the Investment Management Practice Group. She is also a member of the Private Equity Team and the Islamic Finance Team.
Valérie’s areas of expertise include corporate law and investment management. She advices financial institutions, investment managers, private equity firms, family offices, among others, on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters with respect to structuring, restructuring, registering, financing, listing and distributing investment funds. Her experience also includes assisting funds promoters and managers during negotiations with investors.
From 2005 to 2008, Valérie worked in the Luxembourg office of Loyens & Loeff. From 2006 to 2008, she was seconded as legal counsel to ALFI (www.alfi.lu), the official representative body for the Luxembourg investment fund industry. Since 2008, Valérie is working in the Dubai office of Loyens & Loeff.
Since 2009, Valérie is the chairwoman of the ALFI Middle East Working Group based in Dubai.
In 2011, Valérie was listed in the annual Mena FM Power 50 which ranks the top 50 investment funds industry leaders in the Middle East and North Africa.
She is regularly invited to speak at conferences as well as to contribute to publications on investment fund related topics.
She is a member of the Luxembourg and Paris Bars.
