Guido Koop (1976), attorney at law, is a member of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. He specialises in administrative (procedural) law in general and, in particular, zoning and environmental law. He is regularly active in the overlapping area of public and private law. He focuses on infrastructure development, (urban) redevelopment, office building transformation, land exploitation, loss arising from government planning decisions, environment quality requirements and subsidies. He advises both public authorities and private companies, including property developers, investors and housing corporations.
Guido is a lecturer at the Dutch Real Estate Institute and the Law Firm School. He also publishes regularly in legal journals, such as the Rechtspraak Vastgoedrecht. He is a member of the complaints committee of the Municipality of Oostzaan and the Committee of Appeal of the Royal Dutch Football Association.
