T.R.M. (Tom) van Helmond (1979), attorney, is a member of the Competition & Regulatory practice group. He specialises in (European) procurement and competition law. He advises authorities such as municipal authorities, water boards and (health)care institutions as well as market parties such as building companies, housing corporations, project developers and purchasers' advisers. In procurement law matters, he frequently acts for clients in legal proceedings. Thanks to his medical background, he is very knowledgeable on healthcare and the healthcare sector, which helps him to represent the legal interests of healthcare institutions.

He also lectures regularly and publishes on procurement law in professional journals.
