Hans Dhondt is a member of the Commercial Law department. He specialises in intellectual property law, media law and the law of market practices. He advises and represents his clients in court in national and international litigation, and takes part in the negotiation and drafting of their contracts. In this capacity, he leads the ICT & Media Law Team of the Brussels office.

Hans speaks at conferences and seminars concerning intellectual property, media law and market practices. He has authored several publications on these topics. Hans is also an arbitrator and third-party decider with the CEPANI (Centre Belge d'Arbitrage et de Médiation). Hans teaches intellectual property law at the Brussels Institute for Contemporary China Studies (BICCS) in the framework of Investing in Europe - the Benelux as a gateway, a studies program organized by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Hans is a member of the Brussels bar.
