Marieke Bakker (1974), tax lawyer, is a member of the International tax practice group and heads the two Swiss offices. She specialises in mergers, takeovers and cross-border tax planning. She has primarily worked at the Rotterdam office and worked for six months at an Australian law firm in Sydney.

Marieke used to be a lecturer for the Dutch Association for Tax Advisers, teaching on mergers and split-offs, and worked as a research associate at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
