The investment company in risk capital (société d’investissement en capital à risque (SICAR)) regime has been implemented pursuant to a law dated 15 June 2004, which has been amended on 24 October 2008 (the SICAR Law). The end product is a lightly regulated, operationally flexible and fiscally neutral dedicated private equity and venture capital investment company regime for a qualified international investor base.
