Loyens & Loeff advised Kerry Group, the listed Ireland based supplier of food ingredients and flavour products, on the acquisition of Dera Group, the Belgium based savoury flavourings business with manufacturing facilities in Belgium, the Czech Republic and the UK. The acquisition is in line with Kerry’s strategy to expand its savoury ingredients and flavours business into Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern markets.

The Loyens & Loeff team consisted of Damien Conem, Wim Vande Velde, Janine De Keersmaecker, Emmerik Van Parys, Sabrina Fiorelli, Anne-Caroline Kurth and Pietro Menis in the Brussels office, and Heimon Smits and Marc Custers in the Rotterdam office.
