Loyens & Loeff advised the shareholders in the divestment of the ASEP Group

Loyens & Loeff advised the shareholders in the divestment of the ASEP Group Holding B.V, the Dutch manufacturer of wire line units, cranes, coiled tubing equipment, pressure control products, and automation products, to National Oilwell Varco Inc (NOV), the listed US based oil exploration and services Company, for an undisclosed amount.

ASEP has four factories and operations in nine countries with an employee base of 555 people. ASEP's widespread international presence and sophisticated technologies will enhance NOV’s Well Intervention and Stimulation Equipment product offering. Consequently, NOV has acquired Anson Ltd, the UK based manufacturer of flowline equipment, manifolds, valves, swivel joints, hammer lug unions, and wellheads, for an undisclosed amount. Ewout Stumphius and Jan Willem van Rooij led the Loyens & Loeff team.
